Nominations open for the 2017 Conrad Hilton Foundation Humanitarian Prize

The $2 million (US) prize is awarded annually to an organization making extraordinary contributions toward alleviating human suffering anywhere in the world. The Prize is intended to recognize and advance the efforts of the recipient organization as well as to call attention to the worldwide need for humanitarian aid.

An international panel of jurors will select the prize recipient. Jurors include Princess Salimah Aga Khan, international ambassador for SOS-Kinderdorf, Gro Harlem Brundtland, former Prime Minister of Norway, and Ann M. Veneman, former Executive Director of UNICEF.
