The benefits of peer review

One of the unique features of science is that it relies on the peer review method. In other words, it is only with the scientific community’s validation that any individual or collective research is able to pass the credibility test and become conventional knowledge. It is at great cost that Europe’s foundations do not take full advantage of peer review mechanisms.
