What does Alliance cover?

Alliance is the leading magazine for philanthropy and social investment worldwide. It provides news and analysis of what's happening in the philanthropy and social investment sectors across the world. It also acts as a forum for exchange of ideas and experiences among practitioners. As well as news and conference reports, articles, book reviews and opinion columns, each issue has a special in-depth feature on some key aspect of philanthropy and social investment, with contributors from around the world and expert guest editors.

Alliance also has an online resource available free to all Alliance readers and others. It features monthly interviews with prominent figures in the field of philanthropy plus regular articles and reports from conferences around the world.

Alliance eBulletin is an email newsletter for subscribers only which provides news and analysis of current developments in all months when the magazine is not published.

The Alliance Archive gives Alliance subscribers access to the past issues of Alliance, dating back to 1998.

The online Conference Calendar is a fully searchable guide to major events in philanthropy around the world.

Alliance Publishing Trust

From 1 January 2007, Alliance is published by Alliance Publishing Trust (APT) in association with the Network of European Foundations and the European Foundation Centre. Alliance was previously published by Allavida. APT’s board members are:
