CGI announces 1,000 pledges

Former US President Bill Clinton has announced nearly 1,000 ‘Commitments to Action’ under the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI).

Founded in 2005, CGI’s members include 82 former and current heads of state and 325 CEOs. Some 200 of the commitments, which focus on education, climate, health and poverty alleviation, have already been made good.
