A new venture philanthropy initiative for Scotland, Inspiring Scotland, will distribute between £70 million and £100 million over the next ten years to Scottish charities working to improve the lives of young people. Managed initially by the Lloyds TSB Foundation for Scotland, the scheme will bring together resources from foundations, business and government – the Scottish Government is to contribute what Lloyds TSB Foundation describe as a ‘strategically significant’ £9.44 million over the next three years.
