Over the last quarter century, China’s philanthropy ecosystem has become more transparent, diverse and digitalised

In 1996, there were about 200,000 non-profit organisations (NPOs) registered in China which raised half a billion dollars in annual donations. Twenty-five years later, these two numbers have become 900,000 and $25 billion respectively.

We have witnessed some positive changes.
