IssueLab by Candid has joined forces with Alliance magazine to create a unique collection of content that will be freely accessible to all. The archive will help Candid‘s mission to connect nonprofits and funders to the knowledge they need to do their jobs better, and to deepen the impact of their efforts.

IssueLab is the largest active open access archive focused on the knowledge generated by the social sector. Organizations can share their published works through IssueLab and its data partners at no cost, and anyone can search, browse and access close to 30,000 full text documents available in IssueLab for free. IssueLab also curates topical special collections and it runs a hosted repository service that enables anyone to organize and share their own curated collections.

‘We are so excited to host the Alliance magazine collection and to have the content integrated throughout IssueLab’s issue profiles. Alliance’s content offers unique perspectives on social issues and a lens on the world of philanthropy – its successes and failures, and the outcomes that fall somewhere in between. I’m confident that IssueLab’s site visitors will find the featured stories thought-provoking and useful to their work,’ said Lisa Brooks, Director of Knowledge Management Systems at Candid.

Alliance has hand-picked interviewsop-edsanalysis, and special features from volumes dating as far back as 2013, to create a unique collection that both informs and gives context to the content available in IssueLab. New content will be added to the collection quarterly.
