Global campaign Girl Rising, in partnership with HP, has launched ‘My Story: The 2020 Storytelling Challenge’ to collect and highlight stories about how people are working towards racial justice, gender justice, access to education, or helping their communities during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Girl Rising plan to share these stories of courage, leadership, creativity, and solutions in a digital collection in October, and a selection of 15 will be showcased in connection with a celebration of International Day of the Girl hosted by Girl Rising.

The deadline for submissions, which can be sent in written, video, art, photography, or audio format, is 1 September. For more information about the challenge, visit the My Story website.
