Global Impact has launched a new suite of regionally focused High Impact Funds to support nonprofits in Africa, Asia‑Pacific, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, the Middle East, and North America.

For its six new funds, Global Impact selected 22 nonprofits from its alliance of more than 100 international charities. Global Impact’s existing portfolio of thematic funds have raised nearly $500,000 for causes such as clean water, human trafficking and disaster relief.

‘Through these new regional High Impact Funds we are able to provide a convenient way for donors to support work in regions of the world they’re most passionate about, connecting them with respected charities working where they want to see their dollars go,’ said Joseph Mettimano, Global Impact’s chief marketing and development officer. ‘It’s also an opportunity to highlight the great work of our Charity Alliance members and increase funding for these organizations through workplace giving campaigns, from corporations and directly from individuals.’

The charities range from global nongovernmental organisations to nonprofits working on a regional level.
