Fan Li, the co-Editor-in-Chief of SSIR China and International Advisor to the Leping Foundation, joined the Alliance magazine team as Regional Representative for East Asia earlier this year.

Based in Japan, Li brings a wealth of localised philanthropy knowledge about Asian philanthropy that is helping Alliance globalise its coverage and raise the profile of philanthropy in a part of the world where it receives less coverage.

‘Connecting people with vision and determination to change the world, and facilitating collaboration among them has been my passion since I joined the philanthropic sector two decades ago,’ said Li. ‘I am excited to be part of this new effort between Alliance and WINGS and hope to shine light on the dynamic changes happening in Northeast Asia. ‘
