The Arcor Group has received a CEMEFI (Centro Mexicano para la Filantropía) award as an ‘Exemplary Company in Latin America for CSR Initiatives’ at the 3rd annual Meeting of Socially Responsible Companies in Latin America, which was held in Mexico City in March. The Group’s social investment policy, executed through the Arcor Foundation, works principally to improve the living conditions of children and young people. The company’s actions are considered exemplary, not only because of the money invested but also for the innovative nature of its education programmes, support of infants, publications, relationship with organizations the company supports, and policy of consumer information.
