Chilean companies join together to improve education

Acción RSE (CSR Action) reported in mid-July that 13 companies have invested heavily in initiatives to improve education access and quality in Chile.

These efforts totalled USD3.8 million and benefited 60,729 children and adolescents in 564 educational establishments and 108 municipal centres. This is a product of a public-private partnership model called EducaRSE (EducaCSR), an effort promoted by AcciónRSE. Projects operate in schools in socioeconomically deprived sectors in conjunction with the Ministry of Education, Fundación Chile and UNESCO.
