A Community Foundations Network was launched in Spain in March by Fundación Bertelsmann. Despite the fact that community foundations are relatively unknown there, the launch attracted some media interest. The new network has four principal members: Tot Raval Foundation, in Barcelona; Ciutat de Valls Foundation, in Valls; the Maimona Foundation, in the village of Los Santos de Maimona; and Fundació Novessendes, in Betxí. In addition, the Caribbean Philanthropy Network has launched a new website and will shortly announce the results of the first Caribbean philanthropy mapping study.
