Survey suggests charitable giving growing in emerging economies

Charitable giving in the world’s fastest-growing economies is gaining ground, according to research commissioned by the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF). Surveys of over 1,000 people in each of the so-called BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India and China) countries show that over 40 per cent of respondents in each gave money to charity in the past year.
