PANTASMA, NICARAGUA, JULY 2009: A baby receives a dose of the rotavirus vaccine at the Pantasma Health Center. Rotavirus had previously been responsible for the death and prolonged illness of many children in the developing world. Since the vaccine?s introduction in 2006, Nicaragua has seen a 77% decrease in very severe rotavirus cases.
