Development NGO Allavida, formerly based in the UK, became an entirely African organization, registered and based in Kenya, at the beginning of December 2009, following an 18-month handover from Allavida (UK). Linda Ihuthia, previously Chief Operating Officer of Allavida, has been appointed as Chief Executive of the new organization.
