GuideStar International (GSI) is to launch a GuideStar platform covering African civil society organizations in partnership with the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA). Through a shared internet platform, African organizations will be able to display their mission, objectives, activities, needs and finances to donors, researchers, policymakers and the general public (similar initiatives are already operating in the USA and the UK).
