New guide to donors in Latin America

Red Argentina para la Cooperación Internacional (Argentine Network for International Cooperation or RACI) has published the Directorio de Cooperación Internacional (International Cooperation Directory). Financed by the Finnish Embassy in Argentina, the guide provides information on funding sources and other support for social projects and civil society organizations. The index includes the profiles of all the organizations involved in international cooperation work in Latin America, including international foundations, embassies, international cooperation agencies, multilateral organizations, research institutions and think-tanks.

The main emphasis of the index is on funding sources and donors working in Argentina, but it is also useful for the entire Latin American region. There is a printed version of the directory, and also an online database that allows users to locate donors by country of origin, the country where work is performed and type of cooperation.
