The Spring issue of Effect magazine, published by the European Foundation Centre, will include a series of articles looking at how foundations are addressing different aspects of poverty, not only in Europe but also in other parts of the world. The theme of ‘Fighting Poverty – Creating opportunities’ will also be the main focus of the EFC’s 20th Annual Conference, to be held in Rome from 14 to 16 May.

Effect will also report on the latest developments at European level, examine philanthropic traditions in the Arab world, and highlight the importance of reputation management for foundations.
