With a theme of ‘Local Experiences, Global Transformations’, the three-day GIFE congress on Private Social Investment in April in Salvador, Brazil brought together a cross-section of corporate social investors, private philanthropists, and civil society, development agency and government representatives. As the WINGS Coordinating Committee Meeting took place in Salvador at the same time, the programme also featured international perspectives from visiting WINGS delegates.
