Diversity & Inclusion: Lessons from the field

A new report which presents the views of chief executives and trustees at some of the US’s leading foundations and corporate giving programmes. The report, the second in a series of reports designed to examine the state of diversity in philanthropy and encourage open debate on the subject, includes essays on strengthening the representation of constituent voices on boards; addressing differences in economic and social circumstances through technology; the benefit of diverse perspectives in a foundation in targeting health and healthcare disparities; and how a diverse staff and board can identify and support community organizations overlooked by mainstream funders.
