Forum Barcelona is one of a number of events that will feed into the UN September Summit in New York to look at progress on the Millennium Development Goals, as well as the issue of UN reform. It was hosted by UBUNTU, chaired by UBUNTU founder Federico Mayer and co-hosted by Forum 2000, the Montreal International Forum (FIM), the Club of Madrid, the International Facilitating Group on Financing for Development, the Helsinki Process on Globalization and Democracy, the World Political Forum, and the World Governance Programme.
