Scotland has new venture philanthropy fund

A new venture philanthropy initiative for Scotland, Inspiring Scotland, will distribute between £70 million and £100 million over the next ten years to Scottish charities working to improve the lives of young people. Managed initially by the Lloyds TSB Foundation for Scotland, the scheme will bring together resources from foundations, business and government – the Scottish Government is to contribute what Lloyds TSB Foundation describe as a ‘strategically significant’ £9.44 million over the next three years.

We are Carmelite Sisters of Our Lady , a local congregation from the Philippines. At this time we had been raising funds for the education of our Sisters as well as education for many poor students who we are helping. Other pastoral ministry we do is helping marginalized families especially at this time where so many are jobless and have difficulties in raising their families. Definitely we try out best to find generous people to help us. We may be the first of our kind who are reaching out to you all humbly. Please make is difference in your giving hearts to assist us. Thank you very much. God bless
