Social impact infrastructure organisations vastly underestimated, Propel Philanthropy report finds

A study, commissioned by Propel Philanthropy and supported by WINGS, has been launched today.

The release of the report follows on from an exclusive ten-part series of interviews conducted by Alliance on funding philanthropy’s ecosystem.

‘Maybe this is one of the challenges of fundraising because the nature of our work – infrastructure – is invisible,’ says Rose Maruru, co-founder and CEO at EPIC-Africa and a contributor to the report. ‘We can do more if we’re together. We can inspire more if we’re talking to each other. We can do it better if we’re learning from folks on the ground. ..If we want to make change happen, we’ve got to invest in the infrastructure to do it.’

This report, featuring segments on collaboration, community and relationship building, thought leadership and collective learning, as well as links to resources and considerations for funders, is available to read now.
