Alliance Publishing Trust, the media charity and publisher of Alliance magazine has welcomed three new members to its board of trustees.
The new trustees are Robin Heller, president and founder of advisory firm Athena Advisors; Alejandro Álvarez von Gustedt, a vice president of Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors; and Max von Abendroth a strategic leader with many years of experience of EU public affairs and media publishing including as an Executive Director of the European Magazine Media Association.
The new trustees boost the expertise of the board in the spheres of publishing and global philanthropy as Alliance develops ambitious plans to grow readership in new markets and audiences.
Alliance Publishing Trust’s Caroline McLaughlin, who led the recruitment process, said that the applications for new trustees generated significant interest with over 20 candidates applying for the role. ‘We are so pleased to be welcoming three exceptional new trustees. We will continue to seek new and diverse voices from different sectors to contribute to the board and Alliance’s charitable mission over the coming years.’
