Join Alliance magazine today at 2 p.m. BST to listen in on a conversation exploring the role of philanthropy in creating a more just and equitable future.

As Alliance celebrates its 25th anniversary and marks 100 issues covering global philanthropy, we’re spending today commemorating those milestones with an expert panel.

The panel features Ingrid Srinath, Director of the Centre for Social Impact and Philanthropy, Ashoka University, India, and member of the Alliance editorial advisory board; Maria Chertok, Director of Charities Aid Foundation, Russia and member of the Alliance editorial advisory board; Danielle Walker Palmour, Director of the Friends Provident Foundation and guest editor of Alliance’s 2020 issue on foundation investments; and Sufina Ahmad, Director of the John Ellerman Foundation. The conversation will be moderated by Alliance Executive Editor Charles Keidan.

Looking through the lens of Alliance issues, our expert panel will discuss how – and how well – philanthropy has evolved to meet immense challenges of our time, including climate change, wealth inequality, health crises, and social polarisation.

As these issues rise up the agenda and demand urgent responses, we ask: what reforms are urgently needed for our field to fulfil its promise to society?
