In order to mark its 25th anniversary, Ashoka Mexico is promoting 25 themes for significant social change in Mexico and Central America and is supporting organizations working towards each of them. The themes include education for nature conservation (Edumar), supporting the donation of organs (Fundacion Ale), social change through poverty relief (IMIFAP), providing homes for base-of-the-pyramid families (Echale a tu Casa), a fairer judicial system (Renace) and overcoming inequality in education (Enova). Ashoka México currently supports over 200 social entrepreneurs in the region throughout Mexico, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Costa Rica and El Salvador.
