The Center for High Impact Philanthropy (CHIP), has released the report We the People: A Philanthropic Guide to Strengthening Democracy which helps ‘create a framework for anyone looking to strengthen the democratic system.’

According to CHIP, surveys taken over the past decade have revealed a decrease in confidence in democracy in America. The philanthropic guide is proposed to reverse this sentiment.

The website includes free downloadable PDFs and a tool kit with additional resources, as well as a supplement on non-profits that support democracy through their impact in civic engagement and local media.
