Chilean CSR initiative Acción Empresarial has published a practical guide to social investment. Bringing the company closer to the community sets out a theoretical framework and draws a distinction between philanthropy and corporate social responsibility, then sets out the tangible and intangible benefits of a company’s implementing a social investment project. The guide also takes companies through the setting up of a social investment project.
