The closing date for nominations for the Third Olga Alexeeva Memorial Prize has been extended to 30 April.
Established in memory of Olga Alexeeva, former director of CAF Russia and founder of Philanthropy Bridge Foundation, the prize exists to highlight examples of leadership and creativity in promoting philanthropy in an emerging market country or countries. All finalists will be featured in a special supplement to be published with the September 2015 issue of Alliance.
If you know someone who has been doing outstanding work in developing philanthropy in your country, why not nominate them for the prize? Read more about the prize and nominate someone here.
The £5,000 annual prize will be for the individual winner to use at their discretion. All finalists will be invited to a global philanthropy conference later this year, where the winner will be announced and invited to deliver a keynote speech. We are hoping that this will take place in China in the autumn, but this is yet to be confirmed. So watch this space!
So now all we need is good nominations – you have ten more weeks! The closing date for nominations is 30 April. Click here for more information about the prize, including details of past winners, and to download a nomination form.
