Frank Aswani has assumed his position as the new African Venture Philanthropy Alliance (AVPA) CEO. 

Aswani is expected to bring considerable social and private sector experience to AVPA. His experience includes serving as vice president and director of strategic relations at the African Leadership Academy (ALA), and prior to that, sales director at Eli Lilly and Co. where he managed over 25 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa.

AVPA states, ‘his diverse breadth of knowledge and experience has prepared him well to spearhead AVPA’s growth across the continent; greatly enhancing our ability to advance the social investment eco-system in Africa in the years ahead. We warmly welcome Frank to the growing AVPA family.’
