Information, education and entertainment; each a vital facet of a well-functioning society that is largely facilitated by the media. But there is a virus in the system – a lack of trust.
Today’s news cycle is infested with misinformation, fake news and the distortion of data and this phenomenon means the bridges of integrity and trust between the public-media-governance are crumbling.
To highlight and promote the importance of integrity and trust building in our societies, it is necessary to recognise the efforts of accountable leaders, individuals, companies and organisations who lead by example.
It is also important to create platforms where good practices are celebrated, so that others learn and get motivated.
This year our Global Thinkers Forum Awards Gala will be ‘Honouring the Trust Builders’ and will take place on November the 30th in London, UK.
