Candid has launched a new pop-up webpage sharing data on which funders are supporting the response to coronavirus and where the funding is going.

The page is updated automatically as data and news are added to Candid’s database. The data is derived from news articles and other sources, and funders who directly share their funding data with Candid.

According to Candid, ‘Knowing where money is going and how, and having the latest information from organizations, facilitates thoughtful collaboration and decision-making in times of crisis.’

The new resource also includes recently published requests for funding proposals and philanthropic news about the response to the pandemic which is pulled from 300,000 source articles that are regularly scanned for relevant information.
