Her Majesty, Queen Máxima of the Netherlands, plans to join over 800 EVPA conference goers, in The Netherlands, on 6 November. She will be presented the first copy of the anniversary report, ‘15 Years of Impact – Taking Stock and Looking Ahead,’ meet some of the voices of the impact space and attend a few workshops.

EVPA has partnered with ImpactFest for this year’s conference where over 800 participants will look into how Venture Philanthropy and social investing can impact social justice issues. Participants will have the opportunity to exchange ideas on subjects including gender lens investing, clean cooking, climate change and social housing.

EVPA’s CEO states, ‘2019 is a special year for us as we celebrate our 15th anniversary. 15 years in which venture philanthropy and social investing have grown from a novel, marginal idea, into a well-established and much needed philosophy, practised by an ever-growing number of movers and shakers in the impact space focusing on how to become more effective to create social impact. This year, we are enriching the debate by joining forces with the ImpactFest, bringing together both supply and demand.’

Alliance magazine will be providing coverage throughout the conference to share the topics and themes with those who are unable to attend. Let us know what you would like to read about.
