The Robert H. N. Ho Family Foundation announced today the appointment of Phillip Henderson as Chief Executive Officer.
Phillip was previously at the Surdna Foundation and oversaw the ambitious global growth of the German Marshall Fund of the United States. He replaces the outgoing Ted Lipman who has led the foundation since 2011.
Robert Y. C. Ho, Chairman of The Robert H. N. Ho Family Foundation said, ‘We are excited to have Phil lead our Foundation. His extensive experience in the philanthropic arena provides a fitting guide for us as we continually strive for meaningful impact and best practices in all areas of our work.’
Phillip Henderson said, ‘I’m excited to be joining The Robert H. N. Ho Family Foundation and build upon its great work of the past 14 years in Hong Kong and around the world. The Foundation’s track record in funding new work and new thinking in the fields of Chinese arts and culture and Buddhism is impressive. I look forward to working closely with the family, board and staff to realise their shared ambition to continue this excellent work and explore new ways the Foundation can make a difference in the world.’
